I,
Rosalind,
of the clan Smith,
now
hate
Warriors.
Why, you might ask, have I had such a drastic change of heart?
First of all, its characters are horrifically unrealistic, and this feature was particularly clear in the book that I have just finished reading. Cats in this series marvel at the simplest of things, even if they have seen them before. Sometimes they are so stupid you want to bash there heads on walls, and other times they don't harmonize properly. Some characters are far too serious, while others are too light and breezy, and they don't go well together.
Second of all, the whole idea sucks. I mean really-cats fighting for food? Geese Erin Hunter, how much filth can you pile onto the boat before the whole thing sinks?
Third, it is written very badly. The details always lead in one of two directions-so brief that the reader ends up utterly confused, or long and dull, dragging on for years and years on stupid things like the the color of the water in winter.
I could drag on and on for years on this topic, but I am exhausted, so I'll sum it and my view up for you in one sentence:
This series has no rightful place in the realm of books, and I am depressed that there have been no attempts to banish it from existence.
P.S., I am sorry to have wasted your time complaining about something so stupid it should not even be considered.
